Overtures is a series of short comic stories completed during the Junior year of my BFA program. It serves as a prequel to the larger graphic novel, In Whole Or In Part, which is currently in progress.

The comic was completed first as line art digitally, then printed with nearly transparent lines on watercolor paper. The individual pages were painted with watercolor and scanned, the line art edited back on top. It was then compiled as a PDF, printed and encased in handmade bookbinding.
